Animal Magic is the first in a series of workshops, hosted by our currently exhibiting artist Nadine Carter-Smith.

Suitable for all abilities, including absolute beginners, the sessions focus on the pleasure of exploration, expressive mark-making, and reconnecting with creativity in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The focus of the workshop is to discover a sense of calm through the gentle rhythm of creating repetitive patterns.

You will begin by creating a simple grid and exploring a range of patterns and marks. These patterns will then be used to fill and transform a simple line drawing of an animal, allowing your design to gradually grow and evolve.

Please bring a clear image of your chosen animal to draw.
